If any players accounts are found with any staff weapons take note that your account WILL BE RESET we give no warnings for this, if you see another player with a onyx necklace, saradomin sword, or glowing dagger that isn't a staff member take a picture and send it to any staff member, also if you have any staff weapons give them to the next staff member you see online.

Learscape will go offline from 23.2.2009-1.5.2009 (or anytime before)
This is due to a few things r3nagad3 and i are going to be working on.
This includes:
1. full working client with lunar magic and prayer.
2. fully working magic and prayer.
3. fully working player defense.
4. godwars dungeon.
5. proper specs and damage.
6. full working void armor.
7. full working range.
8. good barrows.
9. quests.
10. grand exchange.
11. proper shopping centre for many items.
12. cleaner home area.
13. a better functioning teleportation system.
14. full emotes (sorry no skillcape emotes)
15. a minigame for defenders.
16. proper slayer with proper drops.
17. a better pvp system.
18. multi-hitting mage spells.
19. scoreboard.
20. slower skill and combat xp.
21. admins cant trade.

These are the main things that we will be working on at the moment.
This will ultimately make a better playing experience for all of our players.
The reason why we are taking down the learscape server while we do this is so that we can concentrate on coding it quicker rather then fixing stuff and monitering learscape at the moment,

We would love help from people aswell so if any of you can code or know how to code we can give you tasks and if you complete it properly to the standard we require then we will add it in.
What we really need is a client coder, so if anyone can code clients and can make one for us that works perfectly you will recieve an instant admin status when learscape v3 is released.

Sorry for the inconvinience dedicated learscape players but this will make it better for everyone.

p.s. Learscape forums will stay online, but will change to be project learscape and will have a tutorial area and a help and support etc. etc.

NEW LEARSCAPE DNS ADDRESS HAS BEEN DECIDED
Hi everyone,

The new learscape DNS address has been voted on and has been decided apon. This is not active yet, but will be within about 7 days. This DNS address was chosen by the people of learscape who voted in the poll of 6 DNS addresses to choose a new one that would be slightly easier to remember.

Anyway the new DNS address will be: www.learscape.com

The 3 old DNS addresses will be working for a furthur 1 1/2 to 2 months and then become obsolete. When the new DNS address is active, it will be posted on the forums, the news page and ingame when you login.

Newest updates!
To eliminate spammers.. spamming the chatbox usnig the ::yell command i have made it so the ::yell command is now only available for staff use only.
Anger sword, axe, mace and spear added as the new weapons, they have stronger stats then the godswords but no spec.
a ::bug command has been added so that if you find a bug in learscape you can tell us straight away.
a ::guide has been added so you can see a few things about the server.

TO THOSE WHO HAD/HAVE ILLEGAL RARES
Ok, i ran a character item checker and i found several accounts having illegal amounts of rares (people having about 10+ of the same rare) who are not staff, at the moment who is responsible has not been identified and any information will be appreciated, to the staff member who is giving the items out, let this be a warning if we catch you doing it you WILL be ip-banned.
Anyone with illegals rares will be reset. This is your 1st and only warning.

Hi everyone,
Updates are:
Chatlog files are now dated, so if you accuse someone of rule breaking, try to get a screen shot and the date and time so we can verify it on our end...

Hey guys, tonight i have just fixed a few things.
Ok, well i fixed the gs walk, run, hold stance to how it should be, i fixed the zgs spec a little bit and added spec to ags and sgs. also fixed some stats on some items.
