Sorry everyone,  Lear and I have been really busy on the new SERVER and website for the new Learscape v3.  As everyone knows, there will be membership in this new server.  Staff will be automatically members, players can purchase membership throught the game using there money earned in learscape (this is expensive), or players can donate on the learscape forums to receive membership.

 

There will also be competitions to earn membership for certain things.  Like there will be one for the new server as soon as it is released.  It will require a player to:

 

Players will be able to obtain membership for a period by submitting "How to" guides on things in Learscape.  The conditions are:

 

1.  There maybe more than one submission for the same thing by different players.  I will test each 'How to" Guide and determine the best one.

2.  If your submission does not make it onto the Learscape Help Website, you do not receive membership benefits.

3.  The more submissions you make, the more your helping Learscape and the more chance you have of a winning submission.

 

Your membership limit obtained from this competition will depend on the Length, depth and relevance of the submission, and what it is for.  (EG a guide to getting a saradomin sword is rated higher than a guide to getting food).

 

 

 

Membership will offer benefits ingame and on the forums.  It offers you direct support, with priority over other support cases on our online help desk software.  Also it does not matter how you obtain membership, it will give you the same benefits ingame and on the forums.

 

There is no planned date for the release of the new server, but I am planning on releasing the new forums soon so players can come and view the new website and register a character name for use when the new server is released.
